Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide that occurred at East Karen Avenue and Sherwood Street shortly after 8 p.m.
Police say they responded to the area after reports of hearing gunfire were called in. They found a man with at least one gunshot wound laying on the sidewalk.
The victim was transported to Sunrise Trauma where he later died. Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased after relatives have been notified.
