Man charged with DUI in crash that left 2 dead

UPDATE SEPT 24: The Las Vegas Coroner has identified the deceased driver in yesterday's crash. 56-year-old Alexander Rousakov was one of two victims of the deadly crash.

The official cause of death is listed as multiple blunt force injuries.

ORIGINAL STORY: A man was arrested on DUI charges after a fatal crash at the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Polaris Avenue around 3:08 a.m. Saturday.

Police say a 2006 Dodge Charger ran a red light and hit a 2014 Ford Fiesta in the intersection. The driver and the passenger inside the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene.

33-year-old Lacy Patrick, Jr. was taken to the hospital by medical crews and was subsequently booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
