LVMPD squad takes another crime gun off the streets of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is marking a milestone they say is making our streets safer.

The Spring Valley Area Command (SVAC) tweeted out a photo saying this weekend marks the 100th crime gun recovered by SV35.

SV35 is one of the squads within the SVAC.

LVMPD says that marks "100 guns that weren't able to be used in violent crime."

They went on to say "preventing and detecting gun crime is a priority and the work is never over."
