UPDATE: Coroner identifies body found in towed vehicle, shooter still sought

UPDATE NOV. 20: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man whose body was found in the vehicle as 55-year-old Bryan Edward O'Neal. O'Neal's cause of death was confirmed to have been multiple gunshot wounds and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Police in Las Vegas are asking for anyone with information to come forward after a man was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a towed vehicle.

According to authorities, detectives were notified on Nov. 12 that employees at a local tow yard discovered a body inside a vehicle.

Police say the man had multiple gunshot wounds and his vehicle had been towed the day before, on Nov. 11, from a private property on Silver Mesa Circle, near Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road.

It was towed at the request of the property owner who contacted the tow company directly, police say.

The man's identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.

At this time, police say there is no suspect and a motive is unknown.
