Las Vegas police officer arrested for possible sexual assault of a child

HENDERSON (KTNV) — On May 19, the City of Henderson Police Department received information regarding a possible sexual abuse of a child under 14.

The subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of 35-year-old Daniel Kelly on May 20 for the following charges: 5 counts of Lewdness by Person over 18 with Child Less Than 14.

Kelly is a police officer employed with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
