Las Vegas police looking for thief targeting elderly victims at local hotel-casinos

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a 20- to 30-year-old Hispanic male who has been targeting the elderly in casino parking lots throughout the valley.

Police say that the thief will drive into a parking garage or parking lot, approach someone walking alone, push her to the floor and take their purse.

The thief will then attempt to gain funds from the victim's debit or credit cards

The man was last seen wearing a black jacket, black baseball cap and black mask. Police say he is driving a stolen dark pickup with a white sticker in the rear window and NV plate 174G05.
