Las Vegas police say they are investigating an attempted child luring near a local elementary school earlier this week.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. Nov. 20 near Jones Blackhurst Elementary School, which is near Buffalo Drive and Starr Avenue.
According to a letter sent by the principal to parents of students at the school, a female student was approached by a male in a vehicle while she was on the way to school.
The principal included several safety tips in her letter to the parents.
