Las Vegas police discover gunshot wound on victim after car crash

EAST LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that a collision occurred between two vehicles Friday night.

Police said they discovered that an adult male under his 20s had a gunshot wound, and was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Police were able to determine that the victim was in the 300 block of N 13th St at the time of a shooting on 13th and Mesquite, which was identfied by ShotSpotter.

Police believe that after that incident, the victim left and started driving with injuries. When he was driving, he crashed into a parked car near E Bonanza Rd. and N 22nd St.

Police said homicide is responding.
