LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — JAN. 11 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner has identified the two victims from Saturday's incident as 32-year-old Sean Maurice McLemore, whose death was due to gunshot wounds, and 30-year-old Antwan Laraye Pope, Jr., whose death was due to a gunshot wound to the head. Both men's deaths were also ruled homicides.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says two men are dead after a shooting at an apartment complex near the Strip.

Officers responded to reports of the shooting around 5:30 p.m. at Harbor Island Apartments on Harmon Avenue near Koval Lane.

Lt. Richard Meyers says officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead on the scene, the other was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Their names will be released by the coroner's office.

The investigation led by LVMPD Homicide detectives indicates the two victims were involved in a fight with an unidentified shooter.

During the fight police say the shooter took out a handgun and fired multiple times at the victims, striking them.

The shooter then fled the apartment complex in an unknown vehicle.

The shooter is described as a Black male adult, 6’4”, approximately 210 lbs., with long hair, and wearing a dark gray shirt and blue jeans.
