LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — U.S. Marshalls in Las Vegas arrested Britt Lairson on May 20 on a warrant dated from 2018.
Lairson was arrested on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, according to the arrest report.
The charges stem from an incident taking place in April 2018 where he was involved in a domestic disturbance.
The arrest report states Lairson and the victim had been in a relationship for seven months at the time of the incident and he got upset once she wouldn't join him in bed.
The victim stated he charged at her with a knife and said he was going to kill her.
A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2018 however he wasn't tracked down until Monday.
Lairson is currently being held at Clark County Detention Center with a preliminary hearing set for June 24.
