Juvenile arrested for shooting 4 people at Circus Circus hotel-casino

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a shooting that took place at the Circus Circus hotel-casino.

During the incident, officers located four victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to local hospitals and are expected to recover.

The investigation led by the LVMPD Gang Section indicates that a group of juveniles and young adults became involved in a physical confrontation.

At some point, a male juvenile pulled out a handgun and fired at the victims. The juvenile was located shortly after the shooting in a hotel room on the property and taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was transported to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center and booked for Attempt Murder, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Discharging a Firearm where Person is Endangered and Minor in Possession of a Firearm.
