According to police, Cain was involved with a 44-year-old man who died. The couple reportedly got into an argument and the man exited the vehicle. At that time, Cain allegedly struck the man with the vehicle. Police say that Cain "fabricated" the story about an attempted carjacking.

Cain was taken into custody and booked into the Henderson Detention on one count of open murder with a deadly weapon.

The name of the man will be released by the Clark County coroner after notification has been made.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
