A Henderson man is in custody after police said he stabbed a woman inside an apartment Sunday near Sandhill and Sunset roads.
The woman was taken to St. Rose Dominican, Siena Campus, with moderate injuries. But police said she is alive thanks to kids.
Henderson police said when detectives got to the scene the kids were all on top of the suspect, trying to hold him down. That man had some kind of sharp object and may have been drunk.
The kids had minor injuries from holding the man down.
