Two suspects are in custody in connection with a robbery and attempted murder at a Henderson home.

Rudy Herrera, 23, and Sarahi Solis, 25, were booked into the Henderson Detention Center, late Friday night, according to Henderson police. Solis was charged with conspiracy, burglary and robbery and Herrera was charged with conspiracy, robbery, burglary and attempted murder.

On Nov. 7, Henderson police said a man was robbed at gunpoint near the park at the corner of Whitney Ranch and Galleria drives about 2:30 a.m. During the robbery, the man was struck with a gun causing a laceration to the top of his head. The man's wallet and the keys to his residence were taken by the suspects.

On Nov. 15, around 5:30 a.m., the suspects went to the victim’s residence, at the 600 block of Whitney Ranch Drive where he lives with two roommates. Police said one of the suspects made entry into the apartment using the victim’s keys. A male roommate of the victim heard someone enter the apartment and went to investigate.

When the roommate exited his room, the suspect fired two shots at him, according to Henderson police. Both shots missed and the roommate charged Herrera to prevent him from shooting at him again. A fight ensued and Herrera hit the man multiple times with the gun causing numerous lacerations to his head and face. The suspects fled the scene.

Henderson detectives determined that Herrera was involved in the robbery on Nov. 7 and the attempted murder on Nov. 15. Both suspects were seen on video in numerous locations using the robbery victim’s credit/debit cards.
