Henderson police have arrested a man in connection with an attempted home invasion earlier this week.

28-year-old Michael Krupnik was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for the incident Monday.

Around 9:45 p.m. Monday, a male and female resident heard a noise inside their home in the 2300 block of Villandry Court, near Robindale and Pecos roads. The man went to investigate and found Krupnik in the hallway of the second floor. The male chased Krupnik down the stairs and into the garage. Once inside the garage, a physical altercation ensued before Krupnik escaped from the house through the front door and into the neighborhood.

Henderson police responded and began searching the neighborhood utilizing K9 and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department air support, but Krupnik was able to evade officers.

On Tuesday around 10:30 p.m., a Henderson police patrol officer stopped Krupnik and he was arrested.

Krupnik was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on one count of burglary and one count of home invasion.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
