Authorities said the damage comes at an unfortunate time as the fields are scheduled to open Saturday for skill and conditioning drills.

Witnesses were urged to contact HPD at 702-267-5000 with reference number 20-08156 if anyone has more information to share.

Henderson police asked everyone not to damage the parks within the city as it is a crime, and open spaces are for everyone to enjoy, especially as Nevada begins to reopen amid the pandemic.
