HENDERSON (KTNV) — Early this morning about 2:35 a.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were called to a residence near Warm Springs Road and Green Valley Parkway.

Officers were told the 911 call taker could hear “banging and yelling” in the background of the call.

Officers arrived on the scene and found a 42-year-old male and a 34-year old female deceased and a 36-year-old male injured, all with apparent gunshot wounds.

The 36-year-old male was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates the subjects are involved in a domestic relationship where an argument ensued between them just prior to gunshots being fired.

The police say this is still an active and open investigation and no further details were provided at this time.

The name of the two people who died will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after notification of the next of kin.

This is being investigated as the twelfth and thirteenth homicide for the City of Henderson for 2020.

Anyone with information, in this case, is urged to call the Henderson Police Department at 702- 267-4911, 3-1-1, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
