LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting near Boulder Highway and Flamingo Road, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Police say one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Flamingo Road is closed in both directions at Boulder Highway amid the ongoing investigation, Channel 13 has learned.
A traffic camera in the area showed a heavy police presence and crime scene tape securing a large portion of the intersection.
LVMPD says homicide detectives are responding to the scene and will provide more details at a media briefing later Tuesday.
