Elderly man punched on Las Vegas bus, police looking for couple

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 71-year-old man was punched on a Regional Transportation Commission bus on Feb. 3 near 3rd Street and Charleston Boulevard.

Las Vegas police say that the victim was involved in an argument with a male and female over a seat on the bus.

During the argument, the male walked up and punched the victim one time in the face and then got off at the next stop.

It was later learned the victim had sustained a brain bleed as a result of the attack.

The puncher is described as a white male adult in his mid-twenties, 5-feet 7-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, sunglasses, blue hoodie and black pants.

The woman who accompanied the suspect is being sought by detectives as a person of interest. She is described as a white female in her twenties, 5-feet 5-inches tall, and weighing 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue and white hoodie, black sunglasses, black pants and a large leopard print purse with a red strap.
