Car chase from Pahrump to Henderson reaches speeds of 120 mph

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Nov. 25, Nye County Sheriff's Office spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the person driving took off.

A 70-mile police chase ensued, reaching speeds over 120 miles per hour, ending in Henderson.

The chase went from State Route 160 to the 215 beltway to St. Rose Parkway in Henderson.

The chase came to an end on Seven Hills Drive near St. Rose Parkway where the male driver tried to exit the vehicle.

The man tried to resist arrest, but an officer was able to take him into custody.

A female was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. She refused to obey the police commands and was removed from the car and detained.

A third passenger in the back seat was taken into custody without incident.
