LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a duplex fire around 3:22 a.m. Saturday on the 300 block of North 13th Street.
Most of the damage was contained to one apartment although the apartment next door to sustain some smoke damage.
Three people who lived in the smoke-damaged apartment were displaced. No injuries were reported.
A maintenance man who was working on the empty apartment told fire investigators that he noticed someone had cut a hole in the wall of the apartment. He also said a homeless man had threatened him.
Witnesses told investigators they saw the homeless man throw something into the empty apartment around 3 a.m.
