Two men and two women have been arrested for the robbery of two taxi drivers on March 8.

Las Vegas police received a call at approximately 2:40 p.m. March 8 from a taxi driver who told police that he had picked up several passengers near the Las Vegas Strip and drove them to the area of South Fort Apache Road and West Sunset Road.

At that point, they reportedly produced a gun and demanded money and property.

A few hours later, officers were dispatched to the 5800 block of Sky Pointe Drive to investigate reports of gunshots in the area.

Arriving officers quickly learned that the gunshots were related to another robbery of a taxi driver which had occurred inside of the apartment complex in the area.

The victim told police he had picked up several passengers on West Maule Avenue and drove them to the address on Sky Pointe Drive. Before exiting the cab, a gun was produced and the suspects demanded the driver's money and property. The suspects then fired at his taxi, hitting it multiple times, as he left the scene.

Shortly after 9 p.m., detectives took 23-year-old Mark Hagerman and 32-year-old Linda Smith into custody in connection to the robbery outside a business at 5700 Sky Pointe Drive.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified 29-year-old Tyreau Duboe and 19-year-old Kalie Fechner as the two outstanding suspects. With assistance from the LVMPD Career Criminal Section, detectives made contact with Duboe and Fechner in the 700 block of East Twain Avenue where they were taken into custody. All four suspects were transported to the Clark County Detention Center.

All four suspects are facing multiple charges including robbery with a weapon, assault on a protected person and more.
