LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a teenager on Oct. 1 over a video game.
Zaishaun White has been arrested. According to an arrest report, a woman called 9-1-1 on Oct. 1 and reported that a person had been shot in her home on Canary Ivy Way.
The woman told police that White and another person named Arthur Davis came over to play games with her son.
She was in the kitchen when her son called to her and told her that the White and the other person were fighting.
The woman was headed upstairs when she heard a gunshot. White then ran out of the room and said “Mom I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it” and ran out of the house.
Police were able to locate White and took him to police headquarters. They called his mother. White waiting for her to arrive, White reportedly became extremely emotional.
Davis, who was 16 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
White was booked into the juvenile detention center on charges of murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a person under 18.
