A suspect is dead after exchanging gunfire with police officers in the 4500 block of Park Drive on Monday.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene around 6:47 p.m. after a woman reported that an unknown male subject shot a gun at her. Upon arrival, two deputies contacted the alleged shooter and shots were fired.
The suspect was shot and taken to the hospital in Fort Mohave where he was later pronounced dead. Neither deputy was injured during the incident.
Both deputies were placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.
