Senior Airman David Sandacz was arrested on May 23 on child pornography charges, according to Las Vegas police.
Sandacz was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base at the time of the arrest.
Nellis Air Force Base Spokesperson Major Chris Sukach had this to say about the arrest:
"Typically punishment, when warranted, is not administered until investigations are complete," Sukach said. "Currently, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations are investigating this allegation. We take all allegations seriously and thoroughly investigate them as the safety and security of our children are paramount."
Sandacz is facing charges of possession of visual porn of a person under 16 and distribution of porn with a minor.
