UPDATE: Police release surveillance in Hooters casino robbery

Two men robbed the Hooters hotel-casino Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 10:18 a.m. at the casino in the 110 block of East Tropicana Avenue, just east of the Las Vegas Strip. Two men entered and took cash containers from employees on the casino floor.

Police added that the two unidentified suspects approached employees of the casino and pointed a small framed firearm at them and demanded money. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and exited the casino.

The suspects were able to flee in an awaiting vehicle.

The first suspect is described as a black man with short hair approximately 5’9" to 5’11" and weighing 200 pounds. He has last seen wearing a white hat, white shirt, dark pants and dark colored shirt and armed with a small framed handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black man with shoulder length dreadlocks approximately 5'7" to 5’9" weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve hoodie, black shorts and white shoes.

Police released Monday surveillance video of the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.

This is the second time the Hooters hotel-casino has been robbed in the past three months. There was an armed robbery on May 23.
