Police are investigating an armed robbery at Hooters hotel-casino Monday evening.

The incident reportedly happened around 6 p.m. at the casino just east of the Las Vegas Strip on East Tropicana Avenue.

Authorities say an armed man robbed the sports book at the hotel with a large-framed revolver and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man took off on foot and no one was hurt in the robbery.

The suspect has been described as a black man, possibly in his mid-30s, approximately 6’1", wearing a black ball cap, pink shirt, and blue jeans.

The crime comes less than a week after the Rolex store at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace was robbed. Police are seeking five male suspects in that robbery.

Anyone with information on either case is ask to call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
