UPDATE ON MARCH 18: The Clark County Coroner identified 74-year-old Fermin Favela from Las Vegas as the man who died after an attempted murder-suicide.
UPDATE AT 1:30 PM: Police have released more information about the shooting that happened shortly after noon Thursday.
Police say that it involved a man and a woman in their 70s and was domestic related. The man shot the woman and then shot himself. The man is dead and the woman is in critical condition.

Two people have been shot in the 2200 block of Elm Avenue, which is near Eastern and Stewart avenues.
The shooting was reported at 12:14 p.m. Police say that the victims have been transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
