LAS VEGAS — An update on a deadly shooting that happened earlier this month.
18-year-old Zyonn Dawson has been arrested for the shooting and killing of 32-year-old Jose Jesus Santa Cruz from Las Vegas.

Officials say the shooting happened on Jan. 7 on East Charleston Boulevard.
According to an arrest report, Santa Cruz's father told police they had just parked their taco truck when his son walked toward Charleston Boulevard.
That's when he says he heard gunshots and saw a man run from the area.
Santa Cruz later died.
The report states after an investigation officers told Dawson they had him on surveillance and he allegedly requested an attorney.
Dawson has been arrested and is being charged with murder.
