Coroner identifies victim after stabbings near Bonneville and 10th Street

UPDATE OCT. 13: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man killed Sunday night as 57-year-old Donald Mancil.

Mancil's death was due to stab wounds to his abdomen and it has been ruled a homicide.

Three homeless people were stabbed Sunday night at around 10:30 p.m. near Bonneville and 10th Street in the downtown area.

One of those who was stabbed is dead, one is critical and one is "stable."

Police found the two injured victims first and then found the third victim, a man who was killed, near Bonneville and 9th Street.

All of the victims were stabbed multiple times during a fight with an unidentified man.

The two victims at the hospital were able to give police some information about the incident. The attacker was last seen running north away from the scene.

Police are asking the public for help in locating the guilty party. The Clark County coroner will identified the deceased after notification.
