Crews battled a massive fire on Jones Boulevard near Spring Mountain Road on Monday night.
The fire threatened stores and restaurants in a Chinatown strip mall.
Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene around 11 p.m.
Eight businesses were damaged in the fire. The 5 Star Furniture store was the most heavily damaged and may have been source of the fire.
One firefighter was injured and transported to a local hospital. The firefighter is expected to recover.
At this time, it is not known how the fire started.
