Cowabunga Bay Water Park hiring 300+ positions

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Cowabunga Bay Water Park is hiring more than 300 employees as the park celebrates its 16th season in southern Nevada beginning March 30.

The surf retro themed park has more than 20 slides and attractions, including the largest lazy river in Nevada, 9 water slides, 4 surf and swim pools, and an interactive kids play area with 10 pint-sized slides and tipping buckets.

Cowabunga Bay is hiring a variety of seasonal positions including lifeguards, guest services, First Aid, EMTs, cashiers, cooks, park services, cabana servers (must be 21+), janitorial, maintenance and more.

The park says these positions are ideal for applicants wishing to work in an enthusiastic outdoor environment and aid in providing heightened guest experiences. Lifeguard applicants must have the skill and training for safety and a passion for adventure as they encourage guests to enjoy the park’s one-of-a-kind attractions.

The park also trains and certifies lifeguards.

General job requirements include excellent people skills, positive attitude, reliability, flexible availability and a minimum age of 16 by March 1, 2019.

Food Handler cards and Alcohol Awareness Cards (if 21 years of age) are required for all positions except Lifeguards, Park Services, Janitorial and Maintenance.

Completed applications will be accepted in person between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays –Fridays.
