LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Something totally Vegas... 5 women in their wedding dresses ziplined above a bustling shopping center Saturday morning on the Las Vegas Strip all before tying the knot atop the High Roller for a Leap Day wedding.

The couples were taking part in the "Take the Leap" event that allowed lucky couples to add a little adrenaline to their big day at The LINQ Promenade and High Roller.

The 5 couples were selected among applicants to a 102.7 Coyote Country competition by radio host Jeff Kurkjian, as the couples submitted their stories of love.

"All 5 families have such fantastic stories," Kurkjian said. "Blended families coming from all different backgrounds, but they all call Las Vegas home now."

The selected couples started the day with that simultaneous zipline and then rode to the top of the High Roller for a wedding ceremony.

Kurkjian also officiated the ceremony as well.

Each couple then finished their day with a reception at the ICEBAR, and a stay at The LINQ hotel-casino.
