According to a report in the New York Post, a merger between MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment is being looked at.
The report says that MGM Resorts has hired investment bank Morgan Stanley to look into the possibility.
No offer is on the table yet.
If there was a merger, MGM and Caesars would own about half the hotel rooms in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Representatives have said that they will not comment on the "rumor."
