LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada came in at No. 26 when it comes to the safest states in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alaska took the top spot followed by Hawaii and North Dakota.

Virginia came in last.

The site says it looked at virus transmission rates as well as the share of the eligible population getting vaccinated.
