LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The exterior lights at the Venetian and Palazzo towers on the Las Vegas Strip will be turned off Saturday night in support of Earth Hour and it will also share a message of 'LOVE' to healthcare workers.

Saturday's 8:30 p.m. event marks the 12th year the Venetian resort will participate in Earth Hour - the worldwide environmental campaign to raise global awareness of climate change by encouraging eco-conscious individuals, communities, and businesses to switch off their lights for one hour.

During this year's unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, the resort said it will also illuminate several guest suites in the Venetian tower to spell out the word "LOVE" as a tribute to the extraordinary efforts of the medical community worldwide helping everyone during the current pandemic.

Also, the "LOVE" message will return nightly at 8:30 p.m., for an hour, in an ongoing tribute to medical personnel.
