LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — COVID-19 did not stop shoppers in Las Vegas on Black Friday.

Several malls were full of people looking for the best deals to buy gifts for their loved ones during the holiday season.

The North Las Vegas Premium Outlets was crowded with several families waiting in line to enter stores.

At the Meadows Mall, shoppers were wearing their masks while looking for the best deals possible.

"We're avoiding the stores with lines. It doesn't feel as scary as before, like when the pandemic started, so we feel better," said shopper Amairany Peña.

Others wanted to support local businesses and headed to The Arsenal Pro Shop for the Golden Knights.

"it's one of my favorite stores. I love the Golden Knights and I came to get some Christmas stuff," said local shopper Monica Favela.

If you're planning on visiting the malls this weekend, remember to wear a mask and maintain your social distance, but if not retailers are also sharing several online deals too.
