The meals will be made by the chefs who make the meals inside City National Arena. The VGK team will provide 300 meals a day, five days a week for select hospitals. They'll continue deliveries for the next five weeks.

The meal donations are made possible by generous donations from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, VGK players and staff including forward William Karlsson, defenseman Jon Merrill and defenseman Deryk Engelland.

Other player contributions may be announced at a later date, the team says.
