LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Tired of being cooped up during the current pandemic and hungry for something to feed both your brain and your stomach? Then tune into social media and check award-winning chef Jeff Henderson on his Instagram page for a "Quarantine Cookout!"

Henderson will start his live feed on his page at noon on April 11 and here.

Chef Jeff's neighborhood cookout and upbeat shoptalk delivery are expected to lift spirits and stoke fires to prepare wholesome and healthy foods for your family during these trying times.

All foods prepared during the live broadcast will also be donated to a local charity as part of Chef Jeff's support of the Southern Nevada community.

"I know you can't join me in person for this neighborhood cookout, but I truly believe once you see what I'm cooking up you will want to join in and create the same meal for your family," says Chef Jeff. "Stay home, be safe and distance yourself from others during this pandemic. We're all in this together. For now, I invite you to join my live broadcast as an escape from the new norm. Come join the cookout!"

Chef Jeff is the creator of Food Network's reality series, "The Chef Jeff Project," host of "Family Style with Chef Jeff," and the star of the television series "Flip My Food with Chef Jeff."

He also made history as the first African-American chef de cuisine at Caesars Palace and executive chef at Café Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Representatives say when he is not traveling, he enjoys a quiet family life living in Las Vegas, with his wife, Stacy, and five children.
