The site will also continue to provide vaccinations for first responders and health care workers.

After opening the large-scale vaccination center one month ago to quickly and efficiently administer the COVID-19 vaccine to a significant number of community members 70 and older, UMC made the decision to begin vaccinating Nevadans in the 65 to 69 age group, while continuing to serve community members 70 and older.

Community members 65 and older can easily schedule their vaccination appointments by visiting their website or calling 702-789-5160.

Appointments are required and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Since opening on January 18, the UMC COVID-19 Vaccination Center at Encore Las Vegas has administered approximately 15,000 vaccine doses.
