U.S. home prices rise at fastest pace in more than 6 years

Home prices continue to surge during the pandemic.

The home price index showed a 9.1% rise in November over the previous year. That's the largest monthly increase since 2014.

Economists say low-interest rates and low inventory are two reasons for the surge.

Another reason, people are spending more time at home and wanting more space.
