LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One year ago today, the first case of COVID-19 was discovered in the United States.
It was reported in a county north of Seattle.
Since then the virus has infected more than 24 million Americans.
Case numbers continue to rise but so does the number of people getting vaccinated.
According to a CDC, nearly 16 million coronavirus shots have been given across the nation.
The Biden Administration hopes to raise that number by 100M in the next 100 days.
