UPDATE APRIL 17: The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation announced its unemployment insurance website will be down on April 18 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The department said this time period is normally slow and the downtime will be used to improve the system performance and access expansion for users.

All unemployment insurance functions, including unemployment insurance filing will not be functional during this time, and users are encouraged to visit the site after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Nevada's unemployment site will be temporarily down Saturday for maintenance.

The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation has announced its unemployment insurance website will be down starting at 1 p.m. on April 11.

The website will be unavailable from 1 p.m. until midnight to conduct system enhancements and take steps towards the fast-track implementation of the federal CARES Act, according to the department.

During the outage time, all unemployment insurance functions, including unemployment insurance filing, will not be functional.

The department of employment said users are encouraged to visit the site after midnight.
