LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Sunrise Hospital and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced the opening of a center to provide monoclonal antibody treatments to patients with COVID-19.

Monoclonal antibody treatment has been shown to decrease hospitalization rates in people at the highest rise for a severe case of the disease. The antibodies are produced in a lab and act as substitute antibodies.
