LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An individual who works for TSA at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas is quarantined and resting at home after testing positive for COVID-19.
"TSA employees who work the same shift and may have come in contact with the officer who tested positive during the past 14 days have been alerted about the situation so that they can take action as appropriate," a TSA spokesperson said.
TSA has a website that keeps the public informed of employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 and what airport they work at. The website is TSA.gov/coronavirus.
The person who tested positive in Las Vegas is a screening officer, who last worked on March 12 at the Terminal 3 checkpoint from 4 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Travelers who believe they may have been in contact with a person who tests positive for COVID-19 should consult with their healthcare provider.
