LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Motor Speedway has announced that it is canceling the remaining racing events for 2020.
The speedway made the announcement on Twitter. It said that the races have been canceled “due to the new statewide restrictions announced by the state of Nevada.”
This includes this week’s Thanksgiving Bracket Nationals, the Dec. 5-6 Jr and Bracket Series races, the Dec. 11 O’Reilly Auto Parts Midnight Mayhem, Import Face-Off, and the U.S Legends Cars/INEX Silver State Road Course Series. pic.twitter.com/B9pzrBzITx

Those races include this week’s Thanksgiving Bracket Nationals, the bracket series races on Dec. 5 and 6, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Midnight Mayhem on Dec. 11, the Import Face-Off, and the U.S. Legends Cars/INEX Silver State Road Course series.
Gov. Sisolak announced a statewide pause that affects many businesses and large events on Sunday. The statewide pause went into effect at 12:01 Nov. 24.
