LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County and the Southern Nevada Health District will offer free COVID-19 testing on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 at Cheyenne High School at 3200 W. Alexander Road.
The walk-in site will be inside the school’s gym and will operate from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. The tests, self-administered nasal swabs, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is needed.
Testing is open to anyone with or without symptoms, including children.
Test event participants are asked to wear face coverings and to bring photo identification and provide their phone numbers. The Nevada National Guard, Global Medical Response ambulance company and the city of North Las Vegas are partners in the effort.
Testing also is available seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at one of two sites in the Las Vegas valley -- Cashman Center or UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center.
Appointments at these sites can be self-scheduled through UMC’s website.
