LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Southern Nevada Health District gave a first look into its new COVID-19 shelter on Thursday.

It has nearly 30 beds and is for people who have the virus but also don't have a place to isolate safely or need to be in the hospital.

The temporary shelter is located at 280 S. Decatur Boulevard.

The health district says anyone is welcome, including those who are homeless and people who have a high-risk person living in their home.
