LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County Commissioners formally approved an agreement on Tuesday for vaccines to be administered at Encore Las Vegas, which is owned by Wynn Resorts.

The University Medical Center has been administering vaccines in the Brahms and Bach ballrooms since Jan. 18.

UMC has been administering vaccines from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

They are currently giving vaccines to Nevadans who are ages 70 and older, heath workers and first responders.

They hope to be able to offer appointments for other community members in the future as the statewide vaccine supply increases.

According to UMC, they have administered more than 6,500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Encore location.
