LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The organization says it is in need of blood donations amid the coronavirus pandemic. Less people are donating blood because many drives have been canceled to avoid group gatherings.

Health authorities say donating blood is safe and very much needed at this time.

If you can't make it, there will be another blood drive on Saturday.
